A Weekend Coffee Guide to Paris
Camille Roussel · 8 February 2026 · 9 min read
Paris was slow to embrace specialty coffee — the café culture here was built around ritual, not roast curves. That's changing, but the best weekend still mixes both worlds: an espresso at the zinc counter, and something more considered a few streets over.
Start mornings at a neighbourhood counter for the ritual of it, standing, unhurried. Save the afternoon for slower cups — a V60 taken at a window table, somewhere with time to spare. The city rewards wandering between the two rather than choosing one.
If you find yourself near the Marais, our flagship room is a good place to sit for an hour with nowhere else to be.
